Evaluating a Member's Reputation

Learning more about a member's feedback

For each transaction, the buyer and seller are allowed to rate each other performance by leaving feedback. Each feedback left consists of a rating (positive, neutral or negative) and a short comment. These ratings that members leave for each other are used to determine individual member profiles. The member profile for Beltal member "Lee" is shown below: 



You can view a Beltal member's profile by clicking on the number in parentheses next to their email. For example, in the product detail page simply click on "88" to view the profile for Lee (88)

Feedback Score:
The feedback score represents the number of Beltal members that are satisfied doing business with a particular member. It is usually the difference between the number of positive ratings received and the number of negative ratings.In the example shown above, the feedback score is 99 - 11 = 88.

Positive Feedback:
This represents positive ratings left by unique members as a percentage.In the example shown above, the positive feedback percentage is 73 divided by 73 + 7 = 91%.

Members who left a positive:
This represents the number of unique members who have given Lee a positive rating. In the example shown above, 73 unique members have left a positive rating.

Members who left a negative:

This represents the number of unique members who have left a negative rating for Lee.

All positive feedback received:

This represents the total number of positive feedback received for all transactions, including repeat customers.In this example, Lee has received 99 positive ratings.

Recent ratings:

This table shows all of the ratings left for this member during the past month, 6 months, and 12 months. In the example shown above, Lee received 0 negative ratings in the past month, 11 in the past 6 months and 11 in the past one year.
